Ordering If you have any questions or require multi-day and multi-delivery orders, please contact us at 510.323.3291 during the Catering Office Hours listed above.

Delivery Information $150 minimum order on weekdays ($20 delivery fee per delivery)
$400 on weekends ($40 delivery per week)
Deliveries outside of the UC Berkeley, LBNL and Berkeley area may be available for an extra fee.
- Please order 48 hours in advance to guarantee a delivery time slot.
- For orders place 24 hours in advance, we will try to accommodate your order.
- All orders must be received by 12noon the day before. For orders placed after 12noon we will try and accommodate them. - For same day orders or orders placed after 12noon the day before, we can accept them based on availability with a $50 service charge.
- For Monday requests, orders must be placed no later than the Friday before at 12Noon.
- Please ensure we have a cell phone number for the onsite contact and ensure that all tables and linens are setup before the start of the 30 minute window.
- Please indicate the EAT TIME of your guests so we can ensure we have time to setup, and leave within the 30 minute window.
Please note that an extra service charge may apply if the service area is not setup or our staff is required to do additional setup or preparation on site that we were not notified about prior to the confirmation.

Payment & Invoicing - After submitting and completing an order, an invoice will be sent to the billing contact
- Please note, billing terms are DUE ON RECEIPT so please process invoices when they are received.
- Outstanding invoices past 30 days may incur a late fee of 10% or $50, whichever is greater.
- We accept UC and LBNL purchase orders, checks, cash and credit.
- For Credit Card payments, there will be a secure payment link sent with the invoice.

Changes & Cancellations When an order is confirmed, NorthSide Café arranges schedules for employees, orders special inventory, reserves a delivery block and begins the billing process. For these reasons, all cancellations made within 48 hours of the order are subject to a service charge of 50% of the total invoice. Cancellations made within 24hours of the order will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Please note that Monday orders must be cancelled before Friday at NOON.

After over 20 years in the industry, we understand that attendance can fluctuate and we want to be able to accommodate you as best as possible. All changes must be made by 10am, 2 days before the event (weekends and Holidays not included). For Monday orders, changes must be made by 10am on Friday. There is no charge for changes made before this time frame. After this time frame, we will do our best to accommodate you. Based on what is needed to fulfill the change request, an extra charge may apply. All changes must be made in writing to

Cutlery And Service-ware Recyclable & Compostable items are included with your order at no extra charge. If outside food is being brought in as well, please provide your own utensils to avoid running out. Extra utensils can be provided for an additional charge of $1 per person.

Gratuity We do not add gratuity, or service charge to any orders. Tips are not expected, but they are greatly appreciated. All tips are pooled and distributed among all staff equally. Tips can be left with the delivery person or added to any credit card transaction. If you would like to add a tip to any invoice, please let our Catering Specialist know.
